The current storage for Genshin Impact on PC and the PS4 is 43.5 gigabytes. On mobile, it takes up around 13 gigabytes of space, and 3 gigabytes of memory. It's quite a hefty game, and one that will continue to grow as more updates come. It's unlikely that miHoYo will decide to delete large chunks of the game to maintain storage size, so it's advisable to leave some storage in reserve for when the game gets updated again.
Genshin Impact recently dropped its 1.4 update, which introduced new characters to unlock ,new weapons, a new event in the Windblume festival, and new "hangouts" players could do to interact with specific players.
The next update, update 1.5 will most likely come out in late April or early May, and is rumored to bring a new house feature, as well as new domains, hangouts, character quests, and a new five star character. Expect the game's storage to swell even more when it comes out.
