Where to Find the Glintstone Key in Elden Ring

The Glintstone Key is a necessary item in Elden Ring, but it can be tricky to find. Here's what you need to know.

For Elden Ring players who have put a reasonable amount of time into the game, you've probably made your way to the Liurnia of the Lakes region. It's a pretty sizable area, and at the center of it all sits the Raya Lucaria Academy. So, you've fought your way past soldiers, prawns, and god knows what else, only to find the entrance to the Academy barred by a forcefield.

Knowing that you'll need a Glintstone Key to get through, you might be feeling a little stumped over where to start looking.

Glintstone Key Location in Elden Ring

At the Raya Lucaria Academy's southern gates, a corpse can be found with a map in its possession showing the location of a meeting place. If you haven't managed to map out the full region just yet, then it can be hard to know where to look.

Whether you pick up the map or not, the Glintstone Key can be found to the west of the Academy, behind Glintstone Dragon Smarag. It is located just to the south of the Crystalline Woods Site of Grace.

Dragons can be tricky bosses to take down, with high damage output and a significant amount of health. Make sure you have some form of fire resistance in order to stand a decent chance.

Once you've collected the Academy Glintstone Key, you'll be able to use it to unlock both of the Academy's gates.
