Is Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach coming to Xbox?
After initially being revealed in 2019 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the FNAF series, and delayed in early 2021 presumably due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is finally set to officially release on Dec. 16, 2021, as announced in a trailer during Sony's Oct. 27 State of Play show. Here's a breakdown of whether or not Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is coming to Xbox.
Is Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach Coming to Xbox?
With Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 4, PS5 and PC, it only makes sense that people are wondering whether or not some other consoles will be added to the mix at some point.
For those on Nintendo Switch and/or Xbox, there is hope.
As detailed in the Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach teaser trailer from Sept. 2020, the upcoming title is a timed-PlayStation console exclusive for at least three months until after its Dec. 16 release date.
As such, the earliest that Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach could see an Xbox release would be March 2022.
The horror game series' first iteration initially launched on PC in August 2014, becoming something of a cult classic within the jump-scare genre, and inspiring a series of sequels and spin-offs under the same developer: Scott Cawthon.
This time, however, the game is being developed by Steel Wool Studios, who appears to be doing a solid job of incorporating an exciting blend of new and old with the next chapter of the FNAF gaming franchise so far.
