Uninstalling Valorant is much more complicated than simply going to your programs and uninstalling the application.
Before uninstalling the actual application, players must first stop and uninstall the program Riot Vanguard.
How to Uninstall Valorant
Riot Vanguard is an application installed with any of Riot’s games. Utilized as a security system to uphold the integrity of every game in the developer's library, it must be uninstalled first before proceeding to get rid of Valorant.
To uninstall Riot Vanguard, go to the system tray which is located on the bottom right side of the screen on the taskbar. On the taskbar, there should be an upwards arrow. Once the upwards arrow is selected, right-click the Riot Vanguard logo and select exit.
A pop-up message will appear. Hit yes to continue. Once Riot Vanguard is closed, both Valorant and this anti-cheat system can be uninstalled when going to “add or remove programs” in settings. This can be found by using the search icon in the taskbar.
First find Riot Vanguard and uninstall the application, and then, proceed to uninstall Valorant.
