First up is long A, a crucial spot on the map for Terrorists to get a strong position towards the A site if they decide to take it. Knowing how to properly flash over the entrance to long A from T-spawn will give you an advantage challenging any CTs that have position up A long. Smoking the corner is a standard play to prevent CT's from mowing you down as you walk past the door is extremely important.

Perhaps even more crucially to actually getting control of long A is actually going ahead to take A site. Knowing how to smoke the cross from long to the actual site can win or lose a round, as a poorly thrown cross smoke will give enemies in CT-spawn an advantageous sight line to pick you off as you try to make your way onto the site. The gap is too wide for a single smoke to cover the entirety of the cross, so two smokes are needed to provide enough cover for a safe A site take from long.

Another important smoke to know for Dust 2 is the x-box smoke in middle. Smoking the top of this box shrouds the view of AWPers in CT-middle and any sneaky players in bottom tunnels from players taking control of catwalk. This is useful in conjunction with the nades for A long, as you can effectively do a split take by sending players up both long and catwalk at the same time.

Taking B site doesn't have to be as simply as "Rush B!" Banking a smoke off the left wall of upper tunnels will provide enough room for terrorists to get a good position on the sight rather than having CTs mow everyone down in a tight corridor for an easy ace. Using this smoke in tandem with flashes helps with warding off enemy players close to the entrance of tunnels.

Similarly to taking A site, there is a smoke you can use to effectively split towards B site by sending players through tunnels and through middle doors. By smoking off CT-spawn you cut off a sightline for rotating players from A to shoot you in the back as you challenge the defending enemies on B site.
