Genshin Impact travelers undertaking the "Sakura Arborism" world quest are trying to find Thunder Sakura Trees.

These unique sylvan species are essentially just large purple cherry blossom trees that have been struck with Electro elemental energy. According to legend, they symbolize the god Baal's "eternal watch" over the region. Unfortunately, that watch has been disturbed by a group of Treasure Hoarders and is giving Shrinemaiden Miyuki a headache.

Quest goers are tasked with healing the trees by removing the "juvenile antics" left behind by Treasure Hoarders.

Genshin Impact Thunder Sakura Locations

There are five Thunder Sakura trees players can find in Teyvat—all of which are on Kannazuka Island.

Working clockwise, from south to north, the locations of these trees are:

  • Slightly southeast from Mt. Tatarasuna on the second steppe down.
  • Slightly northeast from Mt. Tatarasuna heading down toward the northern shore.
  • Along the northern shore of the Mt. Tatarasuna landmass, directly west from a "Mysterious Conch" item.
  • The east side of the southern tip of the Kujou Encampment landmass.
  • Along the northern coast of the Kujou Encampment landmass, slightly northeast of the Front Line viewpoint.

    • The Thunder Sakura will shoot lightning bolts at those who approach them. In order to heal the trees, players need to activate their Elemental Sight and find three blue spirals on the ground. They have to stand on each one and get the tree to strike the spirals. Each spiral will disappear if performed correctly.

    Once all the spirals are gone, the trees will will be healed and bloom again.
